International Conference on "Various Facets of Energy Technologies and its Management for Sustainable Development" (ET & MSD-2013) was held on 16th-17th March 2013 at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. |

Prof. Vijay Rani Sood, HOD – Dept. of Applied Sciences presented a Paper "Solid Waste Management in India: General Overview ". |

The conference was attended by more than 200 delegates from different educational institutes, industries, Central Pollution Control Board & NGO's. Research scholars & Faculty Members from Nigeria, Bangladesh and China also presented their research work. |

Nine technical sessions were conducted where in research scholars, faculty members, officials of Central Pollution Control Board & State Pollution Control Boards as well as representatives of NGO’s from from different states of India presented papers on a wide spectrum of topics. All the sessions were presided over by renowned personalities. |
