from 20th – 21st May 2016

A CNC Training Session was organized at Hytech Educational Equipments; Pune from 20th – 21st May 2016. Mr. Anurag Sharma, Assistant Professor (Mechanical Engineering), DGI Greater Noida attended the session at Pune, Maharashtra.

“Hytech Educational Equipments.” is an educational equipment manufacturing company which deals with production and development of CNC Machines and Controllers, FANUC and SEIMENS based Controllers, FMS, Robotics and a lot of other educational equipments and having a huge number of clients both at national and international level.

The training started on 21/05/2016 after an interactive session with Mr. DeepaK Dunakhe (Founder, Hytech Educational Equipments), and Mr. Tejas Dunakhe (Director, Hytech Educational Equipments). The discussion was based on the importance of educational equipments in modern education system.

Mr. Chandrasekhar (Senior Engineer, Hytech Educational Equipments), started the training session with an introduction to features of Siemens 808D Controlled CNC Milling Machine. The session was based on various programs of CNC Mill and the features of basic functions.

After discussing the basic programming, the simulation procedure was explained with control parameters taken into account. Both types of offsets were explained practically on machine.

After Practicing of offsets, Multiple programs were discussed in which two or more tools work in a single program followed by the simulation and actual working of those programs on machine.

On the Second day of training, canned cycle were discussed for both CNC Mill and Lathe by Mr. Chandar Shekhar. The discussion was based on entering of various features of canned cycles in CNC Programming. Various programs based on Canned Cycles were practiced. Circular pocketing, Rectangular pocketing and contouring programs were explained and simulated on Siemens controller. For auto generated programs on CNC machine, Work coordinate consideration was practiced on the machine.

Different kind of simulation softwares were introduced by Mr. Tejas Dunakhe and the programming methods and simulation techniques were discussed. The conversion of Cad Drawings directly into CNC auto generated programs was discussed thoroughly. Afterwards some knowledge regarding FMS was shared by Mr. Deepak Dunakhe along with the manufacturing process of an FMS based robotic arm.

AT the end of the day, Training certificate was provided by Mr. Tejas Dunakhe to Mr. Anurag Sharma.

The training session was quite interactive and very helpful for Programming and Controlling of CNC machines. The knowledge gained from this training is very helpful for training the students and make them understand the working of CNC Machines.
