  “Industrial visit To HCL TalentCare”

Department of CSE, IT and CS&IT organized an Industrial visit on 21st October 2015 to HCL TalentCare located at Manesar, Haryana for the 2nd year students of CSE and CS & IT. Mr. Manoj Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE and Ms. Priyanka Sandeep, Assistant Professor, Department of IT along with 43 students participated in the visit . The main objective of the visit was to understand the organizational working of a multinational company, the importance of professional certifications and a unique training cum employment program framed by HCL for fresh engineers.

 

HCL TalentCare (A Group Company of HCL), has been at the forefront of the IT landscape in India for the last 35 years and continues to influence the IT industry in a significant manner. At HCL TalentCare, it’s their endeavor to provide meaningful training to young engineers by bridging the skills gap between a fresher and an experienced professional.

 

The Induction programme started at 11.30 a.m. with an introductory presentation by Mr. Akash Gupta, Head of Training and Operations. The speech aimed at giving first-hand knowledge about processes going on in the Manesar campus. He gave a brief introduction how students can benefit from attending the training.

 

The subsequent session started at 11.45 a.m by Arun Chowdhury, Deputy Manager. He explained the details of the Lab Infrastructure. He started with the history of HCL. Later he explained the LEAP, criteria for different domains of the program. After the session students got an opportunity to see the entire Infrastructure. It was a great learning experience for the students.
