A preparatory session for placement was conducted by the Department of Training & Placement for B. Tech students on September 29th, 2014in association withCoCubes.com.
To facilitate the event, Mr. Shashank Shekhar Mishra - Senior Associate Institutions, CoCubes.com visited the college. The B. Tech batches of passing year 2016 and 2017 were the target audience for the session.
The session started at 12:00 Noon with the introductory note by Mr. Mishra. He explained the students of what CoCubes does and why there is a need for the employment portals like them. He stressed the fact that the competition in the market has increased manifolds and in today’s scenario it is the survival of the fittest.
He told the students about the concept of the Preparatory aptitude sessions and the tests which are especially designed keeping in mind the present corporate needs. He also updated them on the model of Pre Assessment. He shared some past facts that the preparatory tests have a direct influence on the performance in actual Pre assessment. More the attendance in these preparatory tests, better is the performance in actual pre asses
He then explained about the working of Online CoCubes portal. He advised the students of how to extract the maximum benefit from it and how the CoCubes portal is a world in itself. He stated that after every assessment, each student can see in his portal his/her job suitability depending on various industries.
Post this, he shared the eligibility criteria of various brands associated with them and the way hiring model works.
In the end, he took up various queries of the inquisitive students.
