D-LINK AWARD CEREMONY

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a commemorative D-Link Award Ceremony to facilitate the Quiz Winners of D-Link Academy on 11th November 2014. Mr Harsh Pandey from D-Link Academy visited the campus for the award ceremony.

The program began with the floral welcome of resource person Mr. Harsh Pandey by Prof. (Dr.) M.S. Murali, Director and Prof. B.L. Kaul, Registrar, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. All the faculty members of the respective departments were also present to endow their best wishes on the winners.

Mr. Harsh introduced the D-Link Academy and explain the concept of D-Link academy. He said that D-Link Academy provides access to D-Link’s training and certification program as part of a management initiative to promote D-Link technology and respond to market demands. D-Link Academy will help to educate employees, customers, channel partners, and students about D-Link solutions and D-Link Academy is committed to providing our customers with high-quality training courses. D-Link Academy have experienced instructors with extensive knowledge of new technologies, who are able to provide informative training sessions, which will thoroughly educate users about networking technology. Candidates will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge via hands-on practice. D-Link courses will help candidates to improve their job skills and give them a better understanding of complex technical topics.

D-Link Academy has also introduced Community Rewards Systems followed by Campus Quiz Contest 2013 which is launched in various Academy Campuses and Authorized Training Partner center’s across country. This will help students and working Professional to measure their Skill Test, Values and Qualities which will be powered by Wheebox. This Periodic assessment will help the community to always up to date where they can learn, earn and grow through the program. The objective of D-Link Academy-WheeBOX Employability Skill Test is to bring reliable and authentic assessment to various aspects of education, training and employment.

Mr. Harsh shared his proposal of D-Link Academy Global Certification Program along with a lab setup in the campus to work closely with training partners and to hone customer skills and develop future network professionals.

Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Murali praised the efforts of the winners in his address to the audience and distributed the cheques and certificates among the quiz winners who were :-

1. Dr. Vijay Rani Sood, Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities

2. Prof. Amit Kumar Sharma, Department of Information Technology

3. Ms. Manju Dahiya, Department of Library

Prof. Amit Kumar Sharma was awarded with a special prize of ‘Wireless N 150 Home Router’ for his exceptional performance.

The event came to an end with Vote of Thanks by the quiz winners.
