A Workshop on ‘COMSOL Multiphysics’ was organized on 18th July, 2014 at C Inn Hotel, Greater Noida by the COMSOL Group. COSMOL Group a fast growing high tech engineering Software Company with a proven track record and a vision as a leader of the industry which provides software solutions for multiphysics modeling. Mr. Vinod Kumar, HOD, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mr. Pradeep Singla, Assistant Professor, Dept. of ECE from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the seminar.

The main objective of the workshop was to create awareness among the audience about COMSOL multiphysics software which is used to find solutions of various field structures on a single platform. The workshop started at 5:00 PM with the registration.

The event was divided in two sessions. At 5:20 PM first session started by Mr. Hemant Kumar with a brief introduction to the COMSOL software with the success story of COMSOL for different designs. In his talk he showed how COMSOL could be used in different areas.

At 6:20 PM. second session started, where he conducted a hands – on session with the trail version of the software. In this session, Mr. Kumar implemented a micro resistor beam by using the COMSOL and all the participants learnt that implementation.

After the hand –on session, the workshop came to an end and the event ended with rendering of Vote of Thanks by Mr. Hemant Kumar.
