NATIONAL STUDENT CONVENTION ON COMPUTER SCIENCE INNOVATION
  AT BHARTIYA VIDYAPEETH
  13th March 2015 - 14th March 2015

National Student Convention on Computer Science Innovation was organized at Bhartiya Vidya Peeth Institute of Computer Applications & Management (BVICAM), New Delhi on 13th & 14th March 2015.

Mr. R J. Dudani, CSI Coordinator welcomed all the delegates and briefed about latest developments in the field of computer science engineering as well as about the programme of the convention.

There after the technical sessions commenced. Forty papers were presented in various sessions during the convention. The topics covered included Nano Technology, Android operating system, Gate Reduction & Boolean Algebra etc.

Our ECE student Mr. Abhinav Vikash presented his research paper on “Tractate RTD’s as Temperature & Pressure Detectors in Tyres”. This paper highlighted the use of Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD’s) to sense the temperature of the tyre. The pressure of the tyre is calculated in accordance with Gay Lussac’s Law. In case the temperature or pressure goes beyond the specified limits, a message will be sent to the car user to stop the car. This will avoid the chances of a tyre burst, thereby ensuring the safety of the car driver and other passengers. His paper bagged the fourth position.

The sessions were very educative and full of learning for all the participants. The convention ended with the distribution of certificates and vote of thanks.
