  Seminar on Leveraging Pro-AV Communications Technology in Propelling India’s Digital Future

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) organized a half day Seminar on “Leveraging Pro-AV Communications Technology in Propelling India’s Digital Future” on 21st November, 2014 in collaboration with Infocomm International. The objective of seminar was to create awareness towards the Pro-AV Technology with a discussion on the role and scope of the Pro-AV Market. Mr. Sapan Kumar Gupta, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, attended the seminar.

 

The inaugural session started with the welcome address by Mr. Virat Bhatia, Chairman of Communications & Digital Economy Committee of FICCI. He said that Pro-AV means Professional Audio-Video system integration technologies. He discussed the gravity of Pro-AV Communication in modern world along with the emerging global trends of Pro-AV Technologies. Later, Mr. Jonathan Steller, Director of Development (Asia/Pacific), Infocomm International discussed about the importance of the education and skill development as a crucial parameter in the global infrastructure construction. He focused on the need to improve the education system of our country in the direction of Pro-AV digital communication technology.

 

The next speaker, Mr. Rajesh Patkar, Deputy General Manager, Christie Digital Systems(India) Pvt. Ltd., Showed his concern over the lack of infrastructure in educational institutes and problems faced while communicating. He stressed on the need of designing and installing good system AV before the implementation of any infrastructure. Then Mr. Ranjan Mathews, Director General, COAI, brought forward the vitality of data in video form in the digital data oriented global industry which is increasingly depending on moving accessories like mobile phones. He also urged for one prominent network establishment for seamless communication.

 

The seminar came to an end with the discussion from Mr. Jonathan Steller who urged the audience and participating organizations to enhance the use of Pro-AV in their infrastructure.
