Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a Workshop on ‘Virtual Lab’ on 11th November, 2014. The objective of the workshop was to create an awareness of Virtual –Lab among students and faculty members of various colleges of N.C.R. Region. The faculty members from G.L. Bajaj-ITM, Greater Noida, I.T.S., Greater Noida, KCC, Greater Noida, AIMT, Greater Noida attended the workshop. Mr. Tanmay Tarun Das, Outreach-In –Charge, IIT, Delhi, Mr. Bhairab Patra, CSE/IT V-Lab Mentor, IIT Delhi, and Mr Subham Kuchal , ECE/EEE Mentor, IIT Delhi were the Resource persons for the workshop .

The event began with the floral welcome of Mr. Tanmay Tarun Das, Mr. Bahirab Patra and Mr. Subham Kuchal by Prof. M.S. Murali, Director, DGI, Greater Noida, and Prof. B.L.Kaul, Registrar , DGI, Greater Noida.

The first Technical Session began with the presentation of brief overview of National impact of VLAB on students and teachers by Mr. Bhairab Patra. He also discussed daily usage of Virtual lab and benefits of V-Lab. He explained the role of V-Labs in minimizing the gap areas between the typical syllabi of Technical Universities and existing Labs.

The next speaker, Mr. Subham Kuchal demonstrated the Physical and Chemical Science Experiments like Acid Base Titration to Ist year students and discussed the use of Virtual lab in their Courses.
