About 60 students accompanied by six faculty members from Dept. 0f Electronics & Communication Engineering visited Electronics For You (EFY) Expo which was organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 21st to 23rd February, 2013. It was a unique electronics event that focussed not only on “components” and “manufacturing equipment” but on the entire eco system of Electronics in India. The event was organised in partnership with the Department of IT, Ministry of Communications, Government of India. It also had the support of NSIC.

In order to build a comprehensive platform for the electronics industry, this Expo had everything that an electronics event should provide–starting from innovation, product design, manufacturing and product sales.

The students got an opportunity to visit various stalls and had discussions on various electronics equipment on display at the Expo. The students and the faculty members discussed on fabrication of projects with EFY technical personnel who had exhibited various kits for project development. The visit was quite educative and useful for the students.
