FICCI in association with InfoComm India, Department of Electronics and Information Technology - Ministry of Communication and Information Technology - Government of India, and National e-Governance Plan organized a Seminar on “Integrated Digital Solutions for a Smarter India” at Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi on July 22nd, 2015. Mr. Abhishek Jha, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the seminar.

 

This seminar was presided by the following resource persons:

After registration at 10:00 AM, the seminar started with the brief introduction of the Chief Guest and other Keynote Speakers by the Presiding Chair. The distinguished speakers addressed the gathering on technological advancements in Audio-Video technologies. The presentation provided very significant knowledge about InfoComm services. Jonathan Seller gave a brief of Membership services and Network opportunities. He also informed the gathering on Industry Education, Company Association, Global Certification and Industry Standards. Mr. Richard Tan highlighted the importance of technology. He described India’s first-ever traffic management center at Bangalore which provides 24x7x365 real time information on traffic conditions across the city and facilitates less traffic congestion and better road developments.

 

Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar delivered a lucid lecture on ‘Ten Transformational Technology that can Contribute to Good Governance’. He emphasized on the evolving technology, internet, connectivity and awareness among people about their rights. Then the panel comprising of experts of their respective fields enlightened the gathering by their knowledge of the subject.
