Department of Electronics Communication Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a workshop on ‘Very Large Scale Integration’ (VLSI) on Monday, 26th September, 2014. The resource person was Mr. Manav, Marketing Executive, Ducat and Mr. Harsh Bhatnagar, Trainer, Ducat.  Dr. M.S. Murali, Director, Dronacharya Group of Institutions welcomed the guest speaker.

Mr. Manav discussed the need and benefits of VLSI. He highlighted several sensors used in VHDL and Simulator. He explained the Verilog Data Type, Modeling, Gate Level Modeling, Behavioral Modeling, Dataflow Modeling, Switch Level Modeling and Finite state Machine. He also explained various programs  with the help of Xilinx ISE tool.

Mr. Harsh Bhatnagar engaged the post Lunch session with the hands on practice. He also presented a live demo of projects. He explained the future scope of VLSI.

The session came to an end with the questionnaire round.
