ICETETSM - 2017

An International Conferenceon “Emerging Trends in Engineering, Technology, Science and Management" (ICETETSM - 2017) was held at IIMT, Greater Noida on 12th April 2017.

The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Gauhar Mehmood, Head of the Department Civil Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

The aim of the event was to bring together leading Academic Scientists, Researchers and Research Scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Computer Science and Engineering. It also provided a premier interdisciplinary platform for Researchers, Practitioners and Educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering.

Ms. Shilpi Jain, Assistant Professor - Department of Information Technology, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida alongwith Second Year CSIT students Sudhanshu Ranjan Choudharyand Shubham presented their paper, “A SURVEY OF SINGLE BLACK HOLE ATTACK AND COLLABORATIVE BLACK HOLE IN MANET” in the conference.

The aim of the paper is to identify the gaps of the detection techniques of black hole attack in order to help the future researchers to propose a robust and feasible detection technique that will not only enhance the efficiency but also be easy to implement in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET). The comparisons are done on the basis of different network parameters like Throughput, Packet Drop Ratio (PDR) etc.

The Conference ended with a panel Discussion and Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Abbasi, convener of the conference.
