Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted the campus placement drive for MyBox Technologies (A HERO Electronix Venture) for B.Tech all branches Batch 2016 on 18th February, 2016.

MYBOX, A HERO ELECTRONIX VENTURE, is a Govt. Recognized Research and Development House launched with only one mission of becoming India’s leading Set Top Box brand across the world. It has been successfully supplying Digital Set Top boxes to various cable and satellite major operators across India and has reached to more than 10 million people.

HERO ELECTRONIX - The US $5 billion Brijmohan Lall Munjal - Led Hero Group, with presence in over a dozen business verticals, foray into the rapidly growing electronics sector of the country, with the formation of a new company, ‘Hero Electronix’. The decision aligns with the ‘Make in India’ vision of the government and will help the sector grow further.

MyBox Technologies was taken over by HERO Electronix in a major transition as the HERO Group wanted to expand their domains in the Software domain as well.

Mr. Gaurav Sharma - HR Manager along with Ms. Smita visited the college to facilitate the event. The campus had around 400+ students participating from various colleges like DGIGN, DCEGGN, RKGIT, Hindustan Group, Anand Engineering College, IIMT Greater Noida and Meerut, IPEC Ghaziabad and Ideal Institute of Technology Ghaziabad. The placement activity started with an Aptitude Test of 30 mins which had questions related to IQ and Quantitative Techniques.

All the students who cleared this Aptitude underwent the last round which was the company’s presentation. Ms. Swati gave the company presentation and talked about various benefits which they will be getting as an employee and also explained the work culture. She discussed the job profile in full detail.

Moving further the last round was a Technical Test and Psychological Test. The Technical was a subjective test which had all the nitty - gritty of their concerned subject. It was a very detailed test. The Psychological Test was designed so as to know the students’ reaction in a particular situation.

The evaluation of this Technical test will be done by the Subject Matter Experts in the company very thoroughly.

The last round is scheduled in the company premises on February 25th, 2016.
