ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Orientation Program for B.Tech First Year Students (Batch 2016 - 20) on 6th August 2016. Parents were invited to accompany their wards to have a first - hand information regarding all Academic and Extra Curricular Activities. The program was coordinated by Dr. Abhishek Swami, HOD , Applied Science Department.

The major objective of the program was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students.

The program started at 9:00 AM in the seminar hall with the lighting of the lamp by Director, Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Bagga, Dr. Abhishek Swami, HOD - APS, Parent Representative and a first year student. It was followed by Saraswati Vandna.

Prof. S. K. Bagga welcomed B.Tech Students (Batch 2016 - 20) and their parents with a warm Welcome Address. He introduced the HODs, Administrator Academics, Registrar, Advisor R&D, and Training Placement Officer to the students and assured the parents of four years of great learning expresson of their ward at Dronacharya which would pave an ideal future for them.

Branch representatives from different departments Arshnoor, Rajan, Adarsh, Abhijeet, Kanupriya, Rikankshi, Megha, Shalu, Ruchi and Aditi Biswas presented the achievements, glimpses, syllabus, evaluation scheme, project patents, placement activities and other important aspects of their respective department.

Registrar, Prof. B. L. Kaul explained the university and college rules and regulations to the students and motivated them to participate actively in the extracurricular activities. Prof. Kaul thanked the parents for accompanying their wards for the orientation program.

The students were taken for a visit to the various department and labs with faculty coordinators.

The program ended with the National Anthem.
