CAMPUS PLACEMENT

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted the campus placement drive for Arya Omnitalk Wireless Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for B.Tech ECE and EEE batch 2016 on March 17th & 18th, 2016.

Arya Omnitalk is a joint venture between the J M Baxi and Lalbhai Group. The JM Baxi Group is a pioneer and leader in the field of transport and logistics services in Pan India. The group offers a wide range of services including ship agency, chartering, stevedoring, C&F and transportation of special cargo etc.

The Lalbhai Group - Arvind Limited is one of the most respected industrial houses in India with revenues over Rs.200 billion. This group is the 3rd largest denim fabric manufacturer in the world and is licensed to manufacture and market a host of internationally renowned names in the garment industry such as Arrow, Lee and Wrangler etc.

In the year 2002, Arya Communications and Omnitalk joined hands and separated their operations into a new company known to us today as Arya Omnitalk Wireless Solutions Pvt. Ltd., marketing Walky Talky and GPS Vehicle Tracking Systems under the brand name Arya Omnitalk.

Students from the colleges like GNIT, IPEC, RKGIT, IIMT, DGIGN, DCEGGN participated in this campus. It was a 2 day event with the first day scheduled for the off line test. The test consisted of questions from Aptitude and Technical Domain. It was mainly to test the IQ of the students and their knowledge regarding the Technicalities they possess. In the 60 mins of the test duration, the test were seen brain wracking on lot of aspects which they thought they knew, but seemed confused while giving the answers.

After the evaluation, all the shortlisted students had to appear in the Technical and HR interview which was scheduled on March 18, 2016.

The day of March 18, 2016 started with a welcome note to the company’s representatives by Prof. (Dr.) S K Bagga, Director, Dronacharya Group of Institution, Greater Noida. Ms. Kusum Nailwal visited the college with her Technical Team to felicitate the same.

The first round for the shortlisted candidates was the HR round, in which the students were judged on their work culture fitment, team work, positive attitude and desire to work.

Post this, all the students who cleared the HR were grilled on their Technicalities competencies. They were thoroughly grilled on their knowledge.

Avnish Shrey- ECE Branch got selected in the campus drive. We wish him great future ahead.

The campus drive came to an end at 6:30 PM with a vote of thanks by Director.
