A Seminar on ‘Higher Education Streams in India and Abroad’ organized by the CSI, ISTE and IEEE Student Branch of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater India was conducted by Pythagurus Education Pvt. Ltd. on 3rd September, 2014. The guest speakers for the session were Mr. Jatin Bhandari, Founder and CEO, Pythagurus and Mr. Diwakar Bhagat, Centre Manager. The objective of the seminar was to introduce the students to various higher education options available in India and abroad, and the eligibility and preparation for the same

Mr. Jatin Bhandari discussed the need of career awareness and identifying rational ways of making a career decision in his interactive session. He focused on the importance of understanding the skill sets required for GMAT and GRE examinations which are accepted as a standard benchmark across top global universities for masters courses and offer great scholarships worldwide. He explained the relative applicability of the tests as GMAT which opens the door for pursuing MBA abroad and the GRE which paves the way to MS courses. He also discussed the existing opportunities for Internship and Employment while studying.

Mr. Diwakar Bhagat, Center Manager focused on the time strategy involved in taking these tests and clearing them with good grades. He also shared the details of the scholarships that the students can apply for and the eligibility criterion to take these exams.

The formal sessions were concluded with a feedback session and a follow-up session to resolve the queries raised by the students. Mr. Bhandari distributed the certificates to the participating students and wished them luck for a bright academic future ahead.

The event ended with a Vote of Thanks and the presentation of mementoes to the guests.
