SEMINAR ON EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a Seminar on “Employment Opportunity in ICT Sector” on 20th February, 2015. The resource persons from Indovision Services private Limited, Gurgaon, Mr. Vinay Aggarwal, Director, Mr. Manish Goyal, General Manager and Ms. Chetna Pathak, Training Manager conducted the seminar.

The seminar opened with introduction of the resource persons to the audience by Dr. Sarika Agarwal, Assistant Professor, DGI, Greater Noida and their floral welcome by Pof. S.K. Bagga, Director, DGI, Greater Noida. The Director advised the audience to take advantage of the seminar in upgrading their knowledge.

Mr. Vinay Aggarwal started the session with the introduction to Huawei, “A global ICT leader in Information & Communication Technology”. He discussed various Training partners of Huawei. He also motivated students to acquire knowledge in Data Communication, wireless Fundamentals (2G, 3G, and 4G), Cloud Computing and Core Network Fundamentals which would make them employable. He also shared his view on the jobs available in ICT Sector and advised students to get certified in these courses..

Mr. Aggarwal recommended students for 6 months Industrial Training Program of Huawei which provides thorough knowledge and understanding of ICT technologies (like Data Communication, wireless Fundamentals (2G, 3G, 4G), Cloud Computing and Core Network Fundamentals), equipments and real time work environment. According to Mr. Vinay, Huawei will also certify the participants for course completion based on the merit at the end of their respective modules.

Huawei has Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) at Bangalore where the engineers manage and control the telecom network. He said that if students score good merit and willing to move Bangalore for two months industrial experience, part of the Huawei 6 month training program then there is maximum probability for the students to be absorbed at GNOC, Huawei, Bangalore.

The students were highly satisfied and 13 students of our college have enrolled in Huawei 6 months industrial training program.

The session came to an end with Prof. (Dr) S.K. Bagga, presenting the memento to the resource persons. Dr. Sarika Agarwal rendered the Vote of Thanks.
