SILVER ARROWS - MERCEDES BENZ

Dronacharya Group of Institutions,Greater Noida hosted the campus placement drive for Silver Arrows - Mercedes Benz for B.Tech Mechanical Batch 2017 on Feb 24, 2017.

Silver Arrows are the Dealer for Mercedes - Benz passenger vehicles in Delhi / NCR, and share more than just the name of a Mercedes - Benz legend. Like the radical, high - performing, lightning fast Formula One cars the company is named after. Silver Arrows driving force is to give their customers an unrivaled Mercedes - Benz sales and service experience.

Mr. Akesh Pandita - Executive Director, After Sales along with Ms. Neha Baveja - Assistant General Manager,HR visited the college with their 5 member delegation and was welcomed by Hon’ble Director, Dr. S K Bagga.

With the over enthusiastic students, the first round was the company’s presentation in which Ms. Baveja explained the profile to the students. She advised about all the roles and responsibilities which will be endowed upon the successful selection and training at Silver Arrows. She also ran the students to the company’s corporate video and told that with the rough phrases of Diesel ban cars in Delhi and also demonetization, Silver Arrows still emerged as a winner in the market. She also advised the students of the career graph they would be having once they become a part of Silver Arrows TEAM.

After the company’s presentation, there was a Technical Test for 45 mins which had questions related to core Automobile Industry. This was all through Technical and nervousness could be seen on the students’ faces. After a testing written test, the evaluation was done and all the shortlisted students went through 3 phases of Technical Interview and 1 phase of HR Interview. All these 3 rounds were hard nut to crack and the students were grilled basis their Technical expertise.

Mr. Akesh Pandita also discussed in detail the possibilities of collaborating with Silver Arrows for various Trainings and Value addition programs for DGI students.

After a day full of activities, the campus came to an end at 07:30 PM with a vote of thanks from Ms. Prachi Agarwal, Training & Placement Officer, DGI, Greater Noida.        

The final result of the activity is still awaited and we thank the TEAM for giving us a chance to host the campus of their esteemed organization.
