SPOKEN TUTORIAL LECTURE

Dr. Sarika Agarwal, Assistant Professor, Computer Science and Engineering Department and Ms. Priyanka Upadhayay, Assistant Professor, Computer Science and Engineering Department delivered the lecture. 22 students attended the session.

Prof (Dr.) S.K. Bagga welcomed all the students and briefed them the advantages and usefulness of Spoken Tutorial . He motivated the students to utilize the facility being provided by IIT Bombay in association with Dronacharya Group Of Institutions, Greater Noida.

Dr. Sarika Agarwal commenced the lecture with the “Introduction to Spoken Tutorials”. She emphasized on the benefits of Spoken Tutorial and its courses to the students and explained the procedure to get training and certification from IIT Bombay.

The next session was on “Introduction to C. Ms. Priyanka Upadhayay demonstrated the basics of ‘C’ including header files, main, printf function. It was followed by a discussion on “Datatypes and Typecasting”. Students were given hands on practice in computer labs. All the students developed ‘C’ Program and tried the functions like printf, clrscr(), etc.

The session concluded with a summary of the lecture taken by Dr. Sarika Agarwal & Ms. Priyanka Upadhayay followed by the question answer round. The Session was very interactive and educative for all the participants which in turn should prove to be beneficial for them in the long run.

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an online test on “C” for students of Ascent International School, Greater Noida on 28th April, 2016. The test was held at DGI Labs and Dr. Sarika Agarwal & Ms. Shivangi Maheshwari conducted the online exam. 22 students of Ascent International School, Greater Noida appeared for the exam.
