VISHWAKARMA DAY CELEBRATION

As per annual tradition, Vishwakarma Day was celebrated to Worship God Vishwakarma on 17th September, 2014. Puja was performed in Central Workshop, Mechanical Engineering Department, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida with enthusiasm and reverence to ‘God Vishwakarma’.

God Vishwakarma is the divine architect and one of the fourteen precious things born of the Samudra Manthan.

Vishwakarma is the presiding deity of all craftsmen and architects. Vishwakarma Puja is a resolution time for workers and engineers to increase productivity and gain divine inspiration for creating novel products. 

Puja was performed under pious environment by Dr. M. S. Murali, Director, Prof. B L. Kaul, Registrar, Prof. Ashwani Kumar, Academic Administrator, Prof. D. V. Bhise, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Head of Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical & Applied Sciences department, faculty members, staff and students.

Students and Staff offered prayer for smooth functioning of various machines and tools.

Prasad was distributed to all faculty members, staff and students of DGI, Greater Noida.
