Mr. Manindra said that the Academic area of Classle portal contains 700+ virtual classes, each corresponding to a course. These Global Classes have global visibility and open membership. The classes are pre-Configured with everything a learner needs to connect with peer-learners, experts and professionals who share interest in the same area. A learner is encouraged to locate classes of interest and join as well as invite their friends to be a part of the classes. Membership is free. If the class you want is not there, by letting them know,-they will create it for us.

Soft skill area has a wealth of multi-media resources and discussion groups targeting different competency areas like attitude, communication, time management and ability to work under pressure.

Career Guidance area has many resources all geared towards helping an individual understand and shape their careers. There are discussion groups to share experiences and engage in a dialogue with professionals, alumni and peers.

Classle Library is a rich collection of expert and user generated digital resources. These resources are in many different forms like text, audio, video, images, web-link etc., and languages. Classle library with its ‘faceted Search’ technology, which is in the inter-section of library science and computer science, brings the experience of physical library into the digital world. Apart from regular ‘Search-and-locate’, there is ‘Browse-and-locate’ as well as ‘ Browse-and-discover’ capability.

During the session students interacted with the resource person and asked lot of useful questions about the functioning of Classle’s knowledge portal. The session ended at 01:00 PM with a Vote of Thanks.
