CLOUD COMPUTING

Department of Information Technology of Dronacharya Group of Institution, Greater Noida conducted a workshop on Cloud Computing in association with Cetpa Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Noida on 21st February, 2014. The objective of the workshop was to offer a comprehensive knowledge about cloud computing and its competitiveness to increase opportunities for students in software industry. 82 students from Department of Information & Technology and Computer Science & Engineering participated in the workshop.

The event started with the welcome of Mr. Atul, Manager-Business Operations from Cetpa Infotech by Honorable Director Prof. (Dr.) M.S. Murali, Dronacharya Group of Institution, Greater Noida. In his welcome speech, Director spoke about the IT technologies and how the students will be benefitted by understanding the latest innovative expertise in the present software industry from the workshop. He also encouraged them to participate enthusiastically in seminar by understanding and asking questions so that the workshop could be productive and become an interactive session.

Mr. Atul discussed the importance of cloud computing in IT industry. Later he versed the students with this new technology in detail. Second half of the seminar was presented by Mr. Anurag Mishra, Sr. Cloud Computing Trainer from Cetpa Infotech Private Limited. He explained and provided a complete knowledge of cloud computing, cloud architecture, frameworks and technical specifications.

The workshop helped the students in acquiring the comprehensive knowledge about the cloud computing and explore the current frame of computer industry.

Certificate of participation was awarded to all the students.
