DGI SMILE CLUB

In order to salute the spirit of Republic Day the Volunteers of DGI SMILE Club organized a visit to a Charitable Primary School at Alpha 1 on 26th January 2014. The objective of the program was to inculcate the seeds of patriotism in the heart of innocent children who are the flag bearers for the future.

The volunteers started their day as the disciplined warriors of SMILE Club enveloped with true color of nationality marching ahead to spread the fragrance of equality among the humanity. They reached the school at 10:00am.

The school children were very excited and the smile on the faces of children clearly depicted their eagerness and reminiscence of the last visit of SMILE Club. They welcomed the volunteers with smile and the colors of balloons and Tri Colour added beauty in their innocent smile.

The event started with legendry Mohammad Iqbal’s composition “SareJahan Se Achchha Hindustan Hamara” by the members of SMILE Club to make the children feel the value of nationality. The volunteers organized a few activities for the kids that included Poetry, Singing and a Quiz Competition. The children whole heartedly participated in these activities and their enthusiasm to learn gave a clear picture of a new and energetic India.
