5th IUCEE-SPEED

As a sequel to the IUCEE-SPEED Student Leadership Workshop held at Rajkot, Gujarat on 12th-13th Aug 2013 where in our students had participated, the fifth workshop of the forum on “Creativity and Innovation in Engineering Education” was held at JRE College of Engineering, Greater Noida on 29th-30th August 2013. The following students from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida participated:

The workshop focused on developing regional voice of students and guiding them in building action plans which can be implemented locally to flourish as real time projects. The workshop spanned for two days i.e. 29th & 30th Aug 2013.

On 29th Aug 2013, the students were introduced to the theme of workshop and formation of group activities. The importance of action plan was explained in detail and the students were directed to prepare action plans and present their ideas in the form of presentation on 30th Aug 2013. The action plan revolved around identification of problems in engineering education and the action plan was to be developed in this specific domain. Among others, the workshop was facilitated by Mr. Rohit, and Mr. Dinesh, experienced members of IUCEE-SPEED from across the country.
