GUEST LECTURE

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida under the aegis of CSI Student Chapter organized a Guest Lecture on Information Security. The guest for this lecture was Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Country Manager & Senior Architect Information Security Global Technology Services IBM India Pvt. Ltd.

The session started with a floral welcome of Mr. Neeraj Gupta by Dr. MS Murali, Director, Dronacharya Group of Institutions. Greater Noida. Mr. BL Kaul, Registrar, DGI Gr Noida, Prof. Ashwani Kumar, Academic Administrator, DGI Gr. Noida and Prof. Sachin Gupta, HOD (CSE), DGI Gr. Noida were also present on this occasion.

Mr. Neeraj has an industry experience spanning 24 years during which he has served organizations such as Department of Electronics- Govt. of India, British Standards Institution-the largest certification body of UK & GE. His areas of expertise include the following but are not limited to Information Security Intelligence and Business Continuity, Information Systems/Technology, Risk Assessment and Management, Audit/Compliance.

90 students from different engineering backgrounds such as Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology and Master of Computer Applications attended this talk.
