IMRB MICROSOFT PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY

It was another nostalgic moment for the entire Dronacharya family on 27th September, 2014. It was time to relive the moment when ‘Team Dronacharya’ of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida comprising of ten students had won the  coveted IMRB Microsoft internship on 5th August, 2014 and the ‘Best College Award’.

The cheque distribution ceremony to reward all the ten students was organized at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 27th September, 2014 in the presence of Dr M.S Murali, Director ,DGI Greater Noida, Prof BL Kaul, Registrar, DGI Gr Noida, Prof Ashwani Kumar, Academic Administrator, DGI Greater Noida, Prof TPN Singh, Advisor R&D, Prof Sachin Gupta, HOD (CSE), Prof DV Bhise ,HOD (ME), Prof Vinod Kumar, HOD (ECE), Prof Abhishek Swami, HOD (APS) and Prof Divyanshu Sinha, HOD (IT).

All the faculty members of the respective departments were also present to endow their blessings and best wishes on the winners.

The winners  Rajan Sinha, Sandeep Banerjee, Johhny Moses, Ashish Bhatt, Abhishek Choudhary, Pankaj Singh, Sanyam Wadhwa, Mohit Anand, Rachit Gupta and Deepak Vashist received their cheques from Hon’ble Director. In his address to the audience Dr.MS Murali praised the efforts of the students in providing technology relevant solutions to the MSME’S during the internship and urged the students to utilize the experience gained to skyrocket their careers to new heights.

The event aptly drew to a close with a motivational talk by the Advisor R&D, Prof. TPN Singh. He appreciated the accolades and the laurels won by all the students by reciting a famous quote by Sir Robert Frosts famous poem “Stepping By the Woods” - ‘The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep’
