iTEP TESTING CENTRE

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida  added another feather to their cap with the formal inauguration of the First iTEP (International Test for English Proficiency) Testing Centre in Noida in a grand ceremony held at the Institute campus on 10th September, 2014. The opening of iTEP certification testing centre at Dronacharya Group of Institution marks the commitment of the institute to bring the best in the global education to its students and staff members. Mr. Hitesh Parmar, Marketing Manager, iTEP India and Mr. Sarath S, Country Manager iTEP India represented iTEP Global on the inauguration ceremony for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dronacharya Group of Institutions towards the operations of the certification testing centre. Mr. Sarath S along with Dr. M. S. Murali, Director, DGI, GN inaugurated the testing centre by cutting the ribbon

Dr. M. S. Murali greeted the honorable guests with a floral welcome followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp amidst the chants of Saraswati Vandana to invoke the blessings of the Goddess of learning. In his welcome address, Dr. Murali emphasized on the importance of English language fluency in all walks of professional life and urged the staff and the students to make the best use of the testing centre towards skill enhancement.   

Mr. Sarath S in his inaugural address applauded the pioneering efforts of the college towards providing world class quality education to its students. He introduced the staff and the students to different versions of iTEP with the application areas of each and also highlighted the fast growing list of the prestigious global MNCs who are using iTEP for training and evaluation. He maintained that the preparation of the students must focus not only on written English, but also the listening skills as well as the ability of a student to fluently communicate. The objective of the courses complements the curriculum to ensure the success of the students in technical subjects as well with better expression of ideas through command over the language.

Dr. Ritu Soryan, Assistant Professor, DGI, GN concluded the session with a Vote of Thanks. Underlining the importance of English language, she said that in the era of vanishing global boundaries with the jobs and the clientele going global, the need of a common language for communication is apparently obvious and crucial to professional excellence. She recommended all the students to start preparing for the certification with zeal and enthusiasm as majority of recruiters for professional courses based on technology are increasingly testing the job seekers for the proficiency in English Language.
