TECHNO TRYST 2014

Prof. Sachin Gupta, Computer Science & Engineering Department from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida presented a paper titled ‘Bio Inspired Algorithms in Wireless Sensor Networks’ at the National Seminar TECHNO TRYST 2014 on the theme ‘NOVEL PARADIGMS OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND DATABASE TECHNOLOGIES’ organized by Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies, Rohini on 1st March, 2014.

The event saw participation from researchers across NCR and Mr. Tamal Chakravorty, Director IT and Test, Ericsson Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. presided over the proceedings as a Chief Guest. Mr. Vinit Thakur, Executive Director and Group CIO, Dalmia Bharat Ltd. was also invited for the seminar as a Guest of Honor. The inaugural session followed by lighting of the lamp covered a welcome address by Dr. S. N. Maheshwari, Academic Advisor DIAS and the inaugural address by the Chief Guest. Mr. Tamal Chakravorty, stressed on the need of Data Management practices in the view of explosive volumes of data being generated in the information age. Mr. Vinit Thakur delivered the keynote address and shared with audience the new data management paradigms being followed in the industry.

The first technical session chaired by Dr. Rajni Jindal, Professor, Head (IT), Department of IT, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, included paper presentations by Mr. Debi Prasad Mishra, General Manager, e - Goverance Rollout Projects, eCentric Solutions (P) Ltd., Delhi and Mr. Pradyut Misra, Product-Manager, NIIT Limited, New Delhi, amongst other researchers.

The second technical session chaired by Dr. V.K. Panchal, Scientist ‘G’/Associate Director, Defence Terrain Research Laboratory, DRDO included theme based paper presentations on Bio Inspired Algorithms by Col. Joshilraj, GSO I (GIS), DRDO, Delhi and Mr. Sachin Gupta, Professor, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida amongst other technical presentations.
