Mr. Alok Srivastava started the session explaining the ways in which Red Hat certification programs reinforce fundamentals and build proficiency in the area of open source technologies. He briefed the students about the rapidly changing software industry environment and the essentials of earning RHCSA and RHCE certifications as prerequisites for learning of advanced technologies like Chef framework which is used to manage infrastructure easily and Puppet scripting, an open source configuration management tool. He explained the students of the benefits that can be achieved with these RedHat certifications. He highlighted the fact that the official training offered by RedHat comes with hands-on lab sessions after each chapter, together with intelligent scripts that check the correctness of the student’s answers, giving them grades and showing the incorrect steps - if applicable- in the answer. The training session is accompanied by a comprehensive test in the last chapter, which collects all training chapters together and makes it project-like with customer requirements and needs, which the student needs to implement LIVE in a limited duration. |
