Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized Industrial Visit to “C# Corner” Noida on 16th October 2015. C# Corner is an online social community for IT professionals and developers to exchange their knowledge and experience using various methods such as contributing articles, forums, blogs, and videos. C - sharp Corner was founded by people who believe in sharing their knowledge with the world and learning from one another.

Prof. (Dr.) S K Srivastava, Applied Science and Humanities Department, DGI along with 25 students of First Year, visited the C# Corner. The objective of the Industrial Visit was to make students familiar with new development in C# Programming and new software for android applications.

The classroom session was started by Mr. Nitin on C# Program. Data Types and Variables are the core part of the C# language since it represents the various ways to express numbers, characters, and strings. He said that the student need to know about compiler and an editor for android applications programming. A compiler is a computer program (or a set of programs) that transforms source code written in a programming language (the source language) into another computer language (the target language), with the latter often having a binary form known as object code. He advised several options for obtaining a compiler to write C# programs and one of free option is to download the .NET Frameworks, SDK and Notepad for same. Since there are many editor and IDE options are available, one need to have look at Tools Section to select the option that suits them the best. Most of the examples in these tutorials run as console programs. Microsoft Visual Studio is also available in multiple versions which can be also downloaded free for Visual Studio Express.

Mr. Nitin also discussed about E - Books section of C# Corner, who apprised that all the E - Books listed in this section are reviewed and recommended by their experts and authors.

The Industrial Visit to C# Corner was informative and interactive in which students participated with keen interest and enthusiasm. Not only their doubts and queries was resolved, but were also enriched with the knowledge related to modern technologies.
