Workshop on Digital Marketing Courses and Its Future Scopes

A one day Workshop on Digital Marketing Courses and Its Future Scopes was organized by DGI Google Student Club, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 28th February, 2015. The workshop was attended by the 2nd & 3rd Year students of Computer Science and Information Technology Branch.
The purpose of this workshop was to make the students familiar with the concept of Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimization. It was a hands on session web development and implementation of SEO on a blog.
The inaugural session was graced by the presence of Prof. S.K. Bagga, Director, DGI, Administrator, Registrar, Advisor R&D, faculty members of Computer Science and Information Technology Department.
The first speaker for the session was Mr. Chirag Arora (Co-Founder, SE Trends). He spoke about the importance of Digital Marketing in today’s business world. He also shared the details of the efforts made by Google in the field of Digital Marketing. He highlighted the importance of AdSense and AdWords and how these concepts have brought about a revolutionary change in the field of Digital Marketing.
The students were given a hands on session by Mr. Chirag on how to optimize their websites, blogs for implementation of SEO.
The second Resource speaker was Ms. Swati Kherwal (Digital Marketing Trainer) who emphasized on the importance of implementing Digital Marketing through Social media like FB, G+, and LinkedIn.
The third Speaker for the session was Mr. Shourjo Chakraborty (Digital Forensic Trainer, SE Trends). He shared job opportunities available in the field of Digital Marketing.
The workshop came to an end with the query doubt session followed by distribution of certificates to the coordinators and the participants.
