International Conference on Computing Communication and Automation (ICCCA 2015)

15th - 16th May, 2015

International Conference on Computing, Communication and Automation (ICCCA 2015) was organized by School of Computing Science and Engineering, Galgotias University, Greater Noida on 15th & 16th, May 2015. ICCCA 2015 was sponsored by IEEE (Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering) UP section.

Ms. Shivangi Maheshwari, Assistant Professor CSE department from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, attended the conference and presented the paper titled “Development and Validation of a Ns-2 Protocol for Data Security at Network Layer.”

The inaugural session started with welcoming the key panelists Prof. Parma Nana( General Chair), Prof.K.K Biswas (IIT Delhi), Prof. Sanjoy Das, Prof. B.V. Babu (Vice Chancellor), Galgotias University, Prof. Phalguni Gupta (Director, National Institute of Technical Teacher’s Training & Research), Kolkata.

After welcome session Prof. K.K. Biswas talked about the “Automated Human Activity Recognition” from Video Clips and Prof. Phalguni Gupta addressed the issues on “Development of multimodel biometric system”. Use of multiple biometric indicators for identifying individuals,is known as multimodal biometrics. Multimodal biometric identification system uses three different features-face, voice, and lip movement-to identify people.

Ms. Shivangi Maheshwari presented her paper in which she analyzed the features of a security module discuss the algorithms used, simulation process and implementation of a security module on the basis of NS2. The simulation details of key sharing protocol and self-defined encryption/decryption protocol in wired network are introduced. NAM is used to display the process of simulation. The purpose of the module is to introduce encryption/decryption features with key sharing into network simulation program.

In the end of the session, participants were awarded with the participation certificates.
