Workshop on Embedded Systems & VLSI was organized by Professor Nandita Pradhan, H.O.D (ECE) and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Associate Professor (ECE) & conducted by CETPA INFOTECH PVT. LTD.

Team CETPA consisted of expert from the field of Electronics (Embedded systems / VLSI). The team consisted of four members- Vikash Kumar, Mainak Uprety, Rishab Tiwary and Praveen Khurana respectively. The whole session was conducted for 5 hours in which first half was dedicated to Embedded Systems and the next half consisted of VLSI. The students got Industrial Exposure of Electronics Industry during the whole event.

Workshop was beneficial for the students as they got an overview of the above mentioned technologies, which included the demo of the Latest Tools & Technologies at their Institute. Students got an opportunity to learn and interact with Dedicated and Experienced Experts of CETPA. The whole session was learning with fun experience including various Demo and Presentations. The whole event paved a way for mutually beneficial & trustworthy relation between CETPA & Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida.

Workshop on PLC AND SCADA was organized by Prof. Nandita Pradhan, H.O.D (ECE) and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Associate Professor (ECE ), they coordinated the workshop and harmonized the whole session.

Team Sofcon consisted of expert from the field of PLC AND SCADA. The team consisted of two members- Mr. D. K SINGH AND Mr. SAURAV. The whole session was conducted for 5 hours in which first half was dedicated to PLC and the next half consisted of SCADA. The students got Industrial Exposure of Electronics Manufacturing Industry during the whole event, also they learn steps for programming of PLC (ALLEN BRADLY) by using software RSLOGIC 500, INTOUCH.

The workshop on PLC AND SCADA proved to be beneficial to the concerned students and faculty members, and well equip them with knowledge to face this highly competitive and technologically evolving world.

Department of ECE has organized a workshop on Embedded System & Robotics by White Swan Consulting Group (WCG) Robotics Lab on 20th March 2012 in DGI, Greater Noida.

WCG Robotics Lab has been founded by alumni of IITs & other premier engineering college of the country. While pursuing their education, they realized the magical ability of Robotics to infuse enthusiasm, creative thinking and confidence among students. This led them to become firm propagators of robotics education, especially to students.

Prof. Nandita Pradhan, HOD ECE welcomed the team members of WCG Robotics Lab on behalf of DGI, Greater Noida. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Coordinator briefs students about the workshop.

Mr. Santosh Kumar and Mr. Ayush Nigam from WCG conducted workshop on Embedded System & Robotics and explained basics to the students with the help of live examples. Through their presentation they spread awareness among fresh technical students so that they realize how important it is to be an engineer in current scenario. They told students about the need of creativity, innovation, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial attitude and learning in engineering students for their technical transformation.WCG team members motivated students to come forward with innovative ideas in these areas and start doing some project. Students were explained about latest software available for Embedded Systems Design. WCG team members Mr. Santosh, Ms.Shruti and Mr. Prashant guided students for hands on experience in doing programming on keil & Proteus PCB Design Software in computer labs. Workshop concluded with the vote of thanks by coordinator Mr. Sanjeev Kumar.
