A workshop on Role of Regulators in Financial Planning was organised on 18th October,2013 by MBA Department of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. The objective of the program was to make the students aware of the criticality of financial investment decisions and the role of regulators like SEBI in assisting the investors to make the right decisions.  Dr. Mukul Jain, from SEBI was the resource person for the event.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. M.S Murali, Director, DGI.

Dr. Mukul Jain started the session with an introduction of the role of regulators in the financial industry. He facilitated in understanding the role of SEBI in the investor’s decision making and the various available investment options. The session helped in understanding the relationships between risk and return from various investments andan insight on managing patents and other IP, importance of savings and investment at an early age. The students as well as the faculty members felt privileged to gain a lot of information on the various investment options.
