ABHINANDAN - 2011

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Greater Noida organized the Fresher’s Function, “Abhinandan – 2011” on 16th September 2011. Chairman, Dr. Satish Yadav graced the occasion with his prestigious presence. The function started at 1.00 p.m. with the lightening of lamp and the blessings of Goddess of Knowledge, Maa Sarswati. Dr. Satish Yadav addressed the students and extended warm welcome to the First Year students. He blessed them for their bright future ahead.

Students exhibited their talent in the form of colorful cultural programme. The most awaited event, Mr. & Ms. Fresher was organized with great pomp and show. Mr. Abhishek was adjudged Mr. Fresher while Ms. Shweta Kandari was crowned Miss Fresher. Some young poets of Dronacharya show - cased their literary talent by reciting their poems.

Smt. Kailash Yadav encouraged the meritorious students by felicitating them. Along with a citation they were awarded with cash prizes.

The college band “Blast” led by Bhavya, enthralled the audience with their foot tapping numbers.
