Krishi Sanskriti organized an International Conference on “Recent Advancements in “Electrical, Electronics and Communication Technology” in association with Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi on 7th May 2016. Ms. Priyanka Tripathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida along with B. Tech students Jaskaran Singh, Akash Kumar and Lalit Kumar Chauhan, attended the conference and presented the paper titled “Wearable Technology: Objects and Their Connectivity”.

The conference aimed at providing an opportunity for exchange of ideas and dissemination of knowledge among Academia, Industries, Research Scholars, Scientists and Entrepreneurs. This would lead to spread the knowledge and consolidate the recent advancements in the respective fields.

“Krishi Sanskriti” is a registered Technical Professional Society (a Non-Governmental Organisation) operating since 2003 under society registration act 1860. It is a highly qualified and experienced group conducting conference, workshop and professional events for research scholars, scientists and faculty for their academic developments.

The programme started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and invocation. Prof. (Dr.) M.R. Tripathy, Convener, welcomed the participants and addressed the gathering on benefits and relevance of attending the conference. Conference Chairperson Prof. (Dr.) G. C. Mishra discussed the major changes in the field of Electronics Engineering.

A large number of research and survey papers were presented by researchers, students, faculty and practitioners on the topics such as Green Electronics, Smart Electronics, advanced Communication, Visualization, Computer Vision, Big Data, Hadoop and IoT (Internet of Things). Papers with new methods and technologies, advanced prototypes, system tools & techniques and general survey papers indicating future directions were presented and appreciated.

The Paper titled “Wearable Technology: Objects and Their Connectivity” presented by DGI Students got positive comments and appreciation from the jury. The paper was based on Wearable Technology which is a fast evolving technology wherein human beings can be connected within a network with other human beings or objects. The jury panel acknowledged the students for their good research papers based on current technological trend like IoT, Cloud Computing, Ubiquitous Computing, Big Data Analytics and Hadoop.

The conference offered a common platform for technical interaction, connect people and enhance first-hand knowledge about recent technological trends and advancements.
