A workshop on “Oracle Applications Training Program” was organized by Information Technology department of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida and Oracle University, New Delhi on 23rd October, 2013. It was conducted by Mr. Dheeraj Aswani and Mr. Samir Kumar (Education Sales Representative), Oracle University.

The training program was attended by students and faculty members from Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology department. Mr. Samir elucidated the journey of Oracle from foundation to the present how Oracle’s applications are designed to address the most complex business requirements and how they provide comprehensive business and industry solutions, enabling organization to increase productivity, accelerate business performance and provide a lower cost of ownership.

He covered the topics like ERP, CRM, JAVA, People Soft and related products from oracle. He also introduced the certification program and short term courses offered by Oracle University for Engineering students.

The seminar was a good exposure for the students to share the knowledge and to be aware of the advancement pursuing in the field of software like ERP, CRM and Java provided by Oracle.
