LOHIA DESIGN & CO.

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted the campus placement drive for Lohia Design & Co. for B. Tech (ME) Batch 2016 on 29th & 30th April 2016. The company conducted the recruitment process for its core department Production, Quality and Maintenance.

Lohia Design and Co. is a Government Recognized export company of High Quality Handicrafts in India. It specializes in manufacturing of all kinds of handicrafts from ferrous and nonferrous metals. Amongst the best in the world, Lohia Design Co. has a state of art equipment and skilled manpower to produce quality products of wood which gives us an edge over most of the exporters from India. Over the years, they have expanded the product line to cater to the increasing demands of the hand crafts from all over the world.

The event was a two days activity. The first day had the written test. This was a 40 minute test and was technical in nature. DGI was the test center for all the Delhi / NCR colleges including IIMT, RKGIT, IPEC, Sharda University, DCE GGN and DGI GN.

After a cumbersome task of the test and evaluation a total of 43 students were selected for the next day which was a Personal Interview. The students had to be gauged on the technical skills as well as the ability to work and handle pressure. Mr. B. Shankar - Head HR and Admin visited the college to conduct the Placement drive.

After a full day of buzzing activities, the event came to an end at 05:00 PM.

Amongst others, Abhilash Kumar and Md. Vais from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida were selected in the company.
