British High Commission, New Delhi organized their flagship event ‘English is Great’ at Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi on 12th March, 2014. The objective of the event was to offer a comprehensive set of English learning tools with fun, motivation and game based learning. It was structured to boost employability and competitiveness to increase opportunities around the world.

Faculties of English Language across the country attended the workshop. Dr. Shilpi Saxena, Associate Professor, Department of Applied Sciences, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the workshop.

Various Internationally recognized top English Language product companies and publishers such as Cambridge English Language Assessment, Pearson, Oxford University Press, Accent International Language Consultancy and Regent’s University London participated in the event.

The event started with the panel discussion that was designed to produce the best English learning impact. It started with a pre- assessmfDr. Sandhya Chintala, Vice President, NASSCOM highlighted problems related to English Language among non-native English speakers.
