Bentley Learning Event For STAAD PRO

 

India Habitat Centre, New Delhi

“Bentley”, a leading company of civil engineering software provider, organized a Learning Event for STAAD PRO at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 11th November, 2014., Mr. Sarvagya Tripathi, Faculty, Department of Civil Engineering, Ajay Bhwankan and Vishal Kumar, the students of Civil Engineering of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida participated in the event.

 

The purpose to attend the event was to give students a forum to interact with the stalwarts of civil engineering.

 

The inaugural session was virtually addressed by Mr. Santanu Das from U.S.A. He highlighted the benefits and importance of Bentley software & how these products are necessity in specific field of civil engineering projects.

 

Mr. Sudeep Narayan Chaudhary, Technical Support Engineer, chaired the session. The session covered new features and discovered advances in STAAD product line & described recent developments in Response Spectrum Analysis and Mode Verification in earthquake resound structure.

 

Mr. Krishan Sathia , Director Customer Support helped the audience in understanding the errors and warning encountered during the analysis of structure. He briefly explained zero stiffness warning message, its causes and methods to solve this error. He explained various tips and tricks for quick understanding and quick use of STAAD PRO. He also covered instability, multiple structure warning message, and wind load application problem during analysis of structure.

 

Mr. Mohan Bradoo, Regional Product Advisor, explained how to access learning courses of Bentley on demand, virtual training and readymade training plans for exploring chances to advancement of user.

 

Mr. Sajit Nair, in his speech, gave an introductory view on next generation software in RC design and detailing “STAAD RCDC”. STAAD RCDC is a design software, empowering engineers to design and detail each element to perfection and deliver detailed drawing in lesser time.
