Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organized Project Exhibition event “Innovision 2015” on 26th September 2015 in the college campus.

The project display was open to all the branches (ME, CE, ECE, EEE, CSE and IT) in which students participated enthusiastically. The objective of the project exhibition was to motivate students towards innovation and creativity and provides a platform for showcasing unique ideas through project exhibition.

Dr. S.K Bagga (Director, DGI, Greater Noida), inaugurated the exhibition and addressed the students by mentioning the importance of projects and business plan. He laid stress on original thinking for simple systems to be developed for the benefit of social cause and community welfare. Through the event every student got an opportunity to bring out the best in them and showcase their talent. The students showcased their expertise in various technologies through their innovative projects.

Prof. TPN Singh (Advisor, Research & Development, DGI, Greater Noida) rendered a brief description of the projects on display and exhorted the students to excel in the areas of innovation and creativity. He mentioned the list of various platforms on which the student has displayed their projects and directed to keep their projects in readiness for evaluation.

The evaluation team consisted of Dr. S.K. Bagga, Prof. TPN Singh, Head of Department of different stream along with project coordinator of the branch. Total of 43 projects were displayed by various department in which Mechanical Engineering students displayed 15 projects, Civil Engineering displayed 3 projects, Electronics & Communication displayed 10 projects, Electronics & Electrical Engineering displayed 6 projects and Computer Science Engineering students displayed 9 projects in all. The evaluation team inspected the displayed project and based on their evaluation, three projects from each branch were adjudged as 1st, 2nd and 3rd position accordingly.

The Innovision 2015 was technical competition to Exhibit their skills which surely ensures a great experience for each of the students who showcased their projects. Students participated in project exhibition with great enthusiasm and vigour.
