National Design Competition is a platform open to all the students from Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial Production, and Product Design for displaying their talents in digital design skills. The competition comprises of four rounds, viz.

1. 1st Round - 2D drafting at their respective college

2. 2nd Round - 3D modeling at the nearest CADD Centre

3. 3rd Round -Design for objective at Regional Level at the CADD Centre

4. 4th Round - Project Submission & Announcement of winners

Winner of National Design Competition will be awarded Rs.1, 00,000/- cash prize along with Certificate and Trophy, Runner up will be awarded Rs.30, 000/- cash prize along with Certificate and Trophy. Other finalist will be receiving Rs.10, 000/- cash prize along with Certificate. Participation Certificates will be given to all the students who will be selected for 2nd round.

19 students from Mechanical Engineering and 13 students from Civil Engineering participated in the first round of 2D Drafting of NDC. The Competition comprised of 2D drafting of a Carburetor for Mechanical Engineering and Building drawing for Civil Engineering students. Students were given one hour time to complete the task.

Students were challenged to a new level, broadening their view on drawing with practical aspects. The result of the competition is awaited.
