To make students familiar about the various implications of Financial Budget, a workshop on “Financial Implications of Budget 2013-14” was organized by MBA Department on 19th March, 2013 in Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. Dr. Mukul Jain, financial education resource person, SEBI was the key speaker. The main objective of the workshop was to discuss the below mentioned key issues:

1. Tax Slabs and Rates

2. Rajiv Gandhi Equity Savings Scheme (RGESS)

3. Additional Tax Benefit for Home Loan

4. Insurance branches

5. Vehicle Claims

6. Donations to Central Govt. Health Scheme

7. TDS on Property sale of above Rs.50 lakhs

After going through all the aspects of the Budget 2013-14, students came up with their queries that were resolved by Dr. Mukul Jain. At the end of the workshop Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Neelam Saxena, HOD MBA gave a vote of thanks to Dr. Mukul Jain.
