Industrial visit for III Semester Mechanical Engineering students was organized on 28th Sept’2012 (Friday)

ELITE ENGINEERS is a company that produces various plastic components by using injection molding process with NC technology, which are used in washing machines, air coolers and air conditioners. Company supplies these components to LG ELECTRONICS & SAMSUNG INDIA LTD.
Industrial visit was organized to provide real life exposure to students about knowledge of high end automated injection molding systems and its applications. Students gathered information about automation used in injection molding process. Students were guided through the factory explaining how the entire manufacturing operations take place. The actual working of Automated Injection Molding process was also shown to the students. Various products produced by the industry were also shown with minute details of design and manufacturing. Students were also told about various quality control measures taken by Elite Engineers to achieve the desired quality level.
AIR TECH Industries manufactures plastic processing parts like, PVC reactors, chemical reactors, and pressure vessels using various manufacturing processes. They supply these parts to various industries on job order basis.
The industrial visit was informative and helpful in providing real life exposure to state of- the-art systems used in the industry. Industrial visit proved to be learning and fruitful experience for both students and faculty members.
