Aparna Bawankan, B.Tech IT - VIII Sem presented a paper entitled “A Semantic Exert To Implement A Novel Framework For E-Learning Web Using Protégé” at the “International Conference on Telecommunication and Networks (TEL-NET, 2013)” on 27th – 28th February 2013.

The conference was held at Amity Institute of Telecom Technology & Management (AITTM). It was organized by Amity University, Noida in association with IETE Sub Centre.

The conference was inaugurated by Lt. Gen. P.D. Bhargava, Gp. Dy. Vice Chancellor - AUUP & Advisor-AITTM, Conference-Chair TEL-NET 2013.

The paper presented by Aparna Bawankan revolves around the idea of making an E-Learning system semantically active. Semantic web is a new generation web where human and machine agents can work conjointly. The paper was highly valued by the dignitaries and researchers. She was presented with a Certificate in appreciation of her efforts.

The session was chaired by Mr. V. K. Arya, former Senior General Manager, Telecom Engineer Centre (TEC).
