APTRON SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD.

CSI Students Chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Industrial Visit to “Aptron Solutions Pvt. Ltd.” on 2nd September, 2016. Twenty seven students from B.Tech first year ECE / EEE / CSIT / IT along with Dr. Somnath Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Science and Humanities visited the industry.

The main objective of the visit was to make student aware about how various activities related to technology in the field of Networking and Electronics are carried out in the Industry.

The visit started with the brief introduction of company by Mr. Sandeep, Network Consultant at Aptron Solutions, He described the different functionalities related to development and networking. After brief orientation the students enjoyed the technical session where they have experienced practical knowledge in the field of networking with the help of simulation as well as practical Approach. Mr. Sandeep, described different types of networking devices.

The students also learnt to identify the ability of network infrastructure that supports its applications and how it affects the overall experience of users. Mr. Sandeep also discussed how the world is making legacy and network technologies work together. Mr. Sandeep also explained connecting several computers in a LAN with the help of a switch, installing IP addresses to the computers and managing them with only one machine and IOS.

The students then visited the Aptron Labs and server rooms where they saw the real time implementation and maintenance of racks and routers. During the lab visit, Mr. Sandeep also explained the students about various networking devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, hubs, etc. He also explained about the ways to connect these devices and maintain them with the help of various networking commands.

The industrial visit to Aptron Solutions Pvt. Ltd. proved to be very educative and useful for the students.
