BOSCH TRAINING CENTER

An industrial visit to BOSCH Training Center, New Delhi was organized by the DGI SAEINDIA Collegiate Club and ISTE Student Chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 5th April 2017. Twenty Three students from 1st Year along with two faculty members Mr. Gaurav Siwal, Assistant Professor - Mechanical Engineering Department and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor - Applied Sciences Department accompanied the students.

Mr. Parag Kavthekar - Regional Trainer and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Trainer - BOSCH Training Center welcomed the students. Mr. Kavthekar gave an overview of the products exclusively developed and manufactured by BOSCH Limited. He motivated the students and discussed the scope of their respective discipline in Automobile Industry.

Mr. Sandeep Kumar explained the Fuel Tank, Fuel Supply Pump, Filter, Fuel Injection Pump, Overflow Valve, Nozzle, Holder Assembly, Return Valve, Fuel Injection Equipment like Combustion Chamber, CRDI - Direct Injection, IDI (Indirect Injection), TDI (Turbo Diesel Injection) and Fuel Filters.

Mr. Kumar demonstrated the Petrol Engine and Diesel Engine and explained the components of Injection, Ignition, Engine and Exhaust System. They were also shown the testing equipments for diesel engine and electronic circuit testing.

The visit was very useful which provided the students with an opportunity to learn the technology of automobile industry.
