INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO CETPA

The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Industrial Visit to “Cetpa Infotech” for First Year students on 16th October, 2015. The students went along with their faculty coordinators Mr. Prassan Sharma and Ms. Priyanka Upadhyay for the visit.

Mr. Atul Kumar, Coordinator- CETPA started the session with an introduction to C Language. He explained that C is a general-purpose, imperative computer programming language, supporting structured programming, lexical variable scope and recursion, while a static type system prevents many unintended operations. He had an interactive session with the students where he executed several computer programs and explained them to the students. He gave various examples on data types that are basics of the programming concepts and how one can effectively use them in improving their programming concepts.

The session ended with a visit to the practical labs of various departments where Auto Cad Lab, Embedded System Lab and equipment were displayed to students. Students were guided on how they can utilize the equipment for project purposes.

The organizers encouraged all the participants for taking part in live projects.
