STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

Delegate from Hunan University - Hunan, China paid a visit to Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 15th May 2015. The objective of the visit was to promote research and academia between the institutions of the neighbouring countries by knowledge sharing through exchange programs, interactions among faculty members, online collaborative certifications and conduction of regular engineering events like international conferences, workshops, webinars and guest lectures. Hunan University, China was represented by the following delegates:-

Prof. Cao Yijia, Vice President, Hunan University.

Prof. Yu Dejie, College of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering, Hunan University.

Prof. Luo Jiawei, College of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Hunan University.

Prof. Xie Jun, Director, Centre of International Studies, Hunan University.

Prof. Zhou Kai, Section Head, Centre of International Studies, Hunan University.

Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Bagga, Director, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida felicitated the guests with floral bouquet. Prof. Cao Yijia, gifted a memento to Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Bagga as a token of gratitude

Detail of the exchange program were discussed at length. The visitors went around the campus and witnessed the various resources available to the students. They appreciated the fact that since DGI is the Authorized Test/Training Centre of Pearson VUE, Certiport, Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, RedHat, IBM, Autodesk etc., the students are getting the benefit of professional development within their campus at a much lower price than the market.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Bagga on behalf of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida and Prof. Cao Yijia on behalf of Hunan University, China.

With the fostering bilateral relations between the two nuclear-power neighboring countries, the agreement between the two institutions seemed to reflect the growing warmth of bilateral ties. Students from both the institutes would be benefitted as international learning and knowledge would propel students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. It would give a chance to the students to gain invaluable international experience for future employment and an opportunity to immerse themselves in another language and develop their skills in a foreign study environment.
